Polyclonal antibody against Human TSP2
Size: 100 μg
Host: Human
INTRODUCTION
Thrombospondin-2 (TSP-2) is a 150 kDa calcium-binding protein. TSP-2 is a disulfide-linked homotrimeric glycoprotein that mediates cell-to-cell and cell-to-matrix interactions. It inhibits angiogenesis through a direct effect on endothelial cell migration, proliferation, survival and apoptosis. It is a potential risk factor for heart disease.
Purification
Antigen affinity purification
Immunogen
Recombinant human TSP2 protein expressed in mammalian cells.
Species reactivity
The antibody detects human TSP2 in western blot and Elisa.
Formulation & Storage
Liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). Store at –20°C for less than one week. For long-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -70°C. Avoid repeated freeze/defrost cycles.
Application/Usage
Western blot – This antibody can be used as a primary antibody in western blot to detect human TSP2.
ELISA - This antibody can be used as a capture antibody in human TSP2 ELISA.
