Thrombospondin-2 (TSP-2) is a 150 kDa calcium-binding protein. TSP-2 is a disulfide-linked homotrimeric glycoprotein that mediates cell-to-cell and cell-to-matrix interactions. It inhibits angiogenesis through a direct effect on endothelial cell migration, proliferation, survival and apoptosis. It is a potential risk factor for heart disease.

Antigen affinity purification

Recombinant mouse TSP2 protein expressed in mammalian cells.

The antibody detects mouse TSP2 in western blot and Elisa.

Liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). Store at –20°C for less than one week. For long-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -70°C. Avoid repeated freeze/defrost cycles.

Western blot – This antibody can be used as a primary antibody in western blot to detect mouse TSP2.
ELISA - This antibody can be used as a capture antibody in mouse TSP2 ELISA.
